We are looking for a Laundry Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute, learn and grow while helping shape the experiences and impact we create across Costa Navarino.

In this position, you will support the smooth operation of the Laundry department by processing and handling team member uniforms and guest garments, while supporting hotel linen operations when required. You will ensure quality, timely service and proper handling of all items in line with Brand Standards, departmental procedures and Health & Safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Sort, prepare and process team member uniforms and guest garments for washing, drying, pressing and packaging according to Brand Standards and Health & Safety requirements.
• Organize daily tasks, prioritize workload and ensure all items are processed accurately and within the required timeframes.
• Handle guest garments according to care instructions, ensuring quality, accuracy and timely delivery.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area, using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where required.
• Monitor laundry equipment and report any maintenance or repair needs to the Shift Supervisor promptly.
• Record daily laundry volumes accurately and clean dryer filters regularly according to operational requirements.
• Follow all Health & Safety rules, company policies, procedures and Brand Standards, and attend all required training.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of laundry care symbols, washing instructions and garment care procedures.
• Basic knowledge of laundry washing, ironing, cleaning products and detergents.
• Knowledge of laundry equipment and dry-cleaning machines will be considered an advantage.
• Good time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under pressure during peak periods and flexible shifts.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements and safe working practices.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality when handling linens, uniforms and guest garments.
• Team-oriented and guest-focused, with a respectful, responsible and proactive approach to work.
