The Opportunity

As a Knowledge Management and Training Project Intern, you will help the Technical Services team develop and maintain clear documentation, training materials, and knowledge resources for data center engineering environments.

Working with engineers, operational teams, and subject matter experts, you will organize technical and operational information so that colleagues can find, understand, and apply current guidance. You will gain practical experience in documentation, onboarding, training content, knowledge systems, and project coordination with support from experienced team members.

What You Will Do

• Create, review, and organize technical documentation, guidance, and standard operating procedures under the direction of Technical Services team members.
• Help develop onboarding and training materials for engineers, technicians, and other colleagues who support data center engineering activities.
• Work with subject matter experts to capture technical and operational information and translate it into clear, structured content.
• Maintain and improve knowledge resources using approved collaboration and document-management tools.
• Organize content so users can identify current guidance and locate the information they need efficiently.
• Support the preparation of safety, compliance, and operational learning materials relevant to the team's work.
• Review existing content for clarity, consistency, accuracy, accessibility, and ease of use, and route technical questions to the appropriate subject matter expert.
• Gather feedback from users and help identify practical improvements to documentation, onboarding, and training resources.
• Maintain organized project records and assist with status updates, action tracking, and related project documentation.
• Complete assigned work within agreed timelines, communicate progress or issues clearly, and seek guidance when requirements are unclear.

What You Will Bring

• Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master's degree program in communications, information management, business, learning and development, technical communication, or a related field.
• Strong written communication skills and the ability to organize and present information clearly for different audiences.
• Careful attention to detail and a commitment to accurate, high-quality work.
• Ability to follow established processes, incorporate feedback, and ask questions when clarification is needed.
• Organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to manage assigned tasks and deadlines.
• Ability to collaborate respectfully with colleagues from different disciplines and backgrounds.
• Interest in learning about technical, engineering, data center, or operational environments.
• Confidence using common productivity, presentation, and collaboration tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience creating documentation, training materials, presentations, or other structured learning content through coursework, projects, extracurricular activities, or prior work.
• Familiarity with knowledge-management or collaboration platforms such as Confluence or SharePoint.
• Experience gathering, verifying, and organizing information from multiple sources.
• Interest in workplace safety, operational processes, compliance, or continuous improvement.
• Interest in artificial intelligence, computing infrastructure, or data center technologies.
