About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Sales, Institutional Equities (IE) to join our team at RHB Investment Bank Berhad. In this role, you'll be responsible for servicing institutional and corporate clients by providing market insights, investment ideas, and value-added solutions to support their investment objectives. You will work closely with clients, research teams, and internal stakeholders to drive client engagement, strengthen relationships, and contribute to the growth of the Institutional Equities business.

What you will be doing

• Conduct daily engagement calls with institutional and corporate clients based on assigned client listings.

• Attend daily morning meetings with the Research team to stay updated on market developments, research recommendations, and investment opportunities.

• Generate and share investment ideas, market insights, and trading opportunities with clients.

• Source and facilitate block trades to meet clients' trading and investment requirements.

• Deliver value-added services to clients through timely market intelligence, research insights, and tailored solutions.

• Regularly accompany Institutional Equities clients to external meetings, company visits, industry events, and field visits.

• Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental revenue and business targets.

• Plan, coordinate, and organize client engagement events, seminars, and networking activities for Institutional Equities clients.

• Promote and cross-sell relevant RHB products and services to deepen client relationships.

• Observe, comply with, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of all applicable regulatory requirements, rules, and industry guidelines.

• Maintain the required professional licence by attending relevant training programmes and obtaining the necessary CPE points.

• Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by management from time to time.

What we're looking for

• A degree or professional qualification from an institution recognized by the Government of Malaysia.

• Preferably with 1 to 3 years of experience in the financial services industry, particularly within the equity market, institutional sales, capital markets, or stockbroking environment.

• Strong knowledge of the equities market and institutional client servicing.

• Possession of a Dealer's Representative Licence (Modules 6 and 7) is preferred.

• Knowledge of technical analysis and the ability to identify market trends and investment opportunities.

• Good interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.

• Good contact network within the investment, fund management, institutional, or corporate client community is an added advantage.

• Strong relationship management and client engagement skills.

• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• A strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
