As a Junior Fraud Analyst on the Professional Services department in our Tel Aviv Office, you’ll play a vital role in safeguarding our advertising ecosystem by detecting and preventing fraudulent activities, such as click fraud and bot traffic. If you are passionate about combating online fraud and ensuring the integrity of digital advertising this role is for you. 

To thrive in this role, you'll need:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or related) / equivalent experience
• 1-2 years of experience.
• mySQL experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to spot anomalies in data.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
• Basic understanding of adtech and digital advertising ecosystem is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Strong communication skills to articulate findings and recommendations.
• Enthusiasm for staying current with the evolving landscape of online fraud.

How you’ll make an impact:

• Monitoring and Analysis: Continuously monitor and analyze traffic data to identify suspicious patterns, irregularities, or potential fraud activity.
• Fraud Detection: Utilize fraud detection tools and methodologies to identify and flag fraudulent traffic, clicks, and other fraudulent activities.
• Investigation: Conduct in-depth investigations to uncover the source and methods of fraudulent activities, gathering evidence for potential legal action.
• Data Analysis: Analyze data to provide insights and recommendations to improve fraud prevention strategies and algorithms.
• Reporting: Prepare regular reports on fraud detection and prevention activities, highlighting key findings and trends.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including the engineering and product teams, to implement fraud prevention solutions and ensure the overall health of the  platform.
• Adherence to Policies: Ensure compliance with Taboola's anti-fraud policies and industry best practices.
• Stay Informed: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in online advertising fraud to proactively adapt and enhance our fraud prevention strategies.
