Circle K Business Centre in Riga, Latvia is looking for a team player who will join our team as:

Junior Controller Fuel Stock & Deal Control

Type of Employment:  temporary position for 1.5 years
Location:  Riga, Latvia  
Visa requirements: A valid work permit from the EU/EEA (relocation assistance is not provided)  

About you:

You are analytical and you like to interact with people from various cultures, inside and outside the organization. You cope well with changes, and you are always on the lookout for improvement of processes. You are used to a high pace work environment, and you are solution oriented in stressful situations. You are well organized with an eye for details. You are interested in getting deep understanding of fuel retail and working in one of the biggest fuel retailers worldwide.

Main responsibilities:

• Assist with, ensure, control, and monitor fuel accounting and inventory records;
• Identify, analyze, and investigate discrepancies related to fuel inventories, including terminal fuel stock control, fuel ownership control, and inventory accounting;
• Perform data analysis and assist in developing and maintaining fuel volume control processes;
• Maintain documentation and accounting system records related to fuel inventory management, documentation, and associated reporting;
• Collaborate and communicate with business operations departments, technical services, and other employees to obtain the necessary information and ensure business process continuity;
• Manage financial controls in accordance with established procedures and audit requirements.

Main requirements:

• Higher educational level or last year student in Business Administration, Accounting or related field.
• Experience in finance control or within accounting will be considered as a plus.
• Fluency in English to communicate with colleagues in Europe.
• Advanced skills in Excel and regular MsOffice tools.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize complex issues/problems.
• Improvement driven and good team player.
