As a Jr. Manager Quality Control you will responsible to according to the procedures and other documents established in the Management System to guarantee the correct service of analysis and reporting of results; as well as determine the conformity or non-conformity of materials and products.

This position reports to Quality Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Updating quality control procedures, specifications, test methods, instructions and other documents established in the Management System.

• Determining the sampling plan for materials and products at their different stages of the process, Reviewing and validating the results of analyses and material and product release reports, to ensure their reliability and the continuity of production processes, Attending to and responding to finished product claims, to provide timely customer service.

• Managing and controlling the identification of non-conforming products and materials, physically and in writing, to prevent their misuse, incorrect or malicious sale.

• Managing the resources to maintain the operation of the quality control sub-process and implement investment projects, and Managing the collaborators and tasks of the process, to guarantee their performance and compliance with the established objectives.

• Approval of UV inks from suppliers used in PPG Comex packaging image printing to ensure uniformity of standard colors.

• Management of the Metrology process to guarantee that measuring equipment is calibrated and in working order to ensure accurate measurements at each stage of the production, measurement, and evaluation processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree/Engineering: Industrial Engineer or Chemical Engineer.

• 3 years of experience in Quality areas in the chemical, CAPEX Investment Project Management.

• 60% English proficiency

• Knowledge of Management Systems, Injection Molding Packaging Manufacturing Process, EEE Laboratory Testing, Materials (raw materials, packaging, labels and packaging) and Color Theory, color equipment and ink matching process.
