Essential Responsibilities

• Place, spread, level, screed, and finish concrete to required specifications
• Perform hand and power trowel finishing
• Complete edging, jointing, patching, and concrete repair work
• Finish concrete surfaces using floats, trowels, screeds, and other hand and power tools
• Perform grouting applications
• Complete concrete repairs, including chipping, patching, and resurfacing
• Work around foundations, slabs, walls, equipment bases, and other industrial concrete structures
• Assist with concrete pours and placement as required
• Read and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications
• Work closely with carpenters, labourers, equipment operators, and other trades
• Maintain Ledcor’s high standards for safety, quality, and productivity
• Complete assigned work safely, efficiently, while meeting project requirements and timelines

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Concrete Finisher / Mason ticket from a recognized provincial training authority
• Minimum 4 years of concreter experience for non-ticketed Journeyperson Concrete Finisher / Mason
• Industrial, heavy civil, construction, or mining project experience 
• Experience with concrete forming and engineered forming systems as asset
• Must be able to provide valid government-issued photo identification
• Successfully complete pre-access Drug and Alcohol testing
• CSTS-09, CSTS-2020 or CSO ticket
• Must successfully complete all required project online orientations

Work Conditions

• Work schedule: 14 days on, 7 days off
• Day shift and night shift opportunities available
• Extended health benefits provided through CLAC
• Weekly payment of wages
• Travel allowance and Living Out Allowance (LOA) provided for those eligible
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions

Compensation

$35.98 - $51.40 per hour

This is the applicable wage range for this position. Individuals will be assigned a base wage within this range based on trade certification and/or apprenticeship level, industry experience, and work location.

Remote, site-based positions may be eligible for additional incentives including but not limited to travel and accommodation allowances.
