Autism Resource Centre (Singapore) or ARC(S) is a non-profit charity organisation dedicated to serving individuals on the autism spectrum throughout their lives. Based in Singapore, ARC(S) offers a range of services and resources tailored to meet the growing concerns and needs of the autism community including the Employability and Employment Centre (E2C). 

The team at Employability and Employment Centre (E2C) provides structured employment services for adults on the autism spectrum, supporting them through employability training, job placement and workplace support. Through assessment, vocational training, job matching and long-term workplace coaching, E2C enables adults to develop the skills and confidence needed to secure and sustain employment, while partnering with employers to create more inclusive workplaces. 

As a Job Support Assistant, your Impact and Contribution includes: 

Key Responsibilities 

Workplace Support & Adult Client Coaching 

• Support Job Coaches in implementing individualised coaching plans using autism-friendly strategies.  

• Reinforce workplace routines, work habits and employer expectations to help adult clients perform their job responsibilities confidently. 

• Observe adult clients during workplace training and provide timely feedback to Job Coaches on their progress and support needs. 

• Encourage clients to develop greater independence by providing appropriate support to help them succeed in the workplace. 

Administrative & Operational Support 

• Prepare reports, client documentation and communication materials accurately and promptly.  

• Maintain organised client records and ensure documentation is updated in a timely manner.  

• Coordinate logistics for workplace visits and client support activities where required.  

• Support the team with day-to-day operational and administrative tasks to ensure smooth service delivery.  

Team Collaboration 

• Work closely with Job Coaches to ensure clients receive consistent and effective workplace support.  

• Participate actively in team meetings, training and professional development activities.  

• Continuously build knowledge of autism and evidence-based support strategies to enhance service delivery.  

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma or GCE 'A' Levels in any discipline. 
  Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Relevant experience in coaching, education, training, employment support or other people-centred roles will be an advantage. 
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and work effectively as part of a team.  
• Willing to work directly with adults on the autism spectrum in real workplace settings and provide hands-on support to promote their independence and success at work. 
• Organised, dependable and able to manage day-to-day responsibilities accurately and efficiently.  
• Adaptable and comfortable working in different workplace environments and supporting clients with varying needs.  
• Able to travel regularly to employer worksites, including multiple locations within a day.
