• Responsible for overall housekeeping operations and cleanliness standards across the commercial building, including lobby, corridors, washrooms, common areas, lifts, staircases, basement parking and service areas.
• Plan and manage daily housekeeping activities, cleaning schedules, deep-cleaning programs and manpower deployment.
• Manage housekeeping supervisors, housekeeping staff and outsourced manpower, including attendance, shift planning, grooming, discipline and productivity.
• Conduct regular inspection rounds to ensure required housekeeping standards are maintained and identify corrective actions.
• Ensure proper cleaning and hygiene of washrooms, including availability of tissue, handwash, air freshener and other consumables.
• Monitor housekeeping consumables, chemicals, tools and equipment, including stock control, usage and replenishment.
• Ensure proper operation, maintenance and safe handling of housekeeping machines such as scrubber-dryers, vacuum cleaners, single-disc machines and pressure washers.
• Ensure compliance with PPE, chemical handling, MSDS/SDS, safe working practices and proper barricading/signage during cleaning activities.
• Plan and supervise periodic and deep-cleaning activities for basements, parking areas, plant rooms, common areas and other critical locations.
• Ensure proper waste collection, segregation, transportation and disposal as per building requirements.
• Coordinate with housekeeping vendors/agencies and monitor manpower availability, performance and SLA compliance.
• Attend and close housekeeping-related complaints from tenants, clients and building occupants within the defined timeline.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Security, Safety and Facility Management teams for smooth building operations.
• Conduct housekeeping audits and maintain inspection checklists, SOPs, records and compliance documents.
• Identify housekeeping-related safety hazards and ensure timely corrective action.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly housekeeping reports covering manpower, attendance, inspections, complaints, consumables, machine status and pending observations.
• Ensure compliance with client requirements, building SOPs, company policies and statutory/safety requirements.
• Monitor overall housekeeping performance and continuously improve cleanliness, hygiene, safety and customer satisfaction.
