In this role, you will provide timely, professional technical and operations support to the team in our vibrant London office on Old Street. Your enthusiasm, problem-solving skills, and tech-savviness will ensure seamless technical operations while keeping the office organised and welcoming.
This is a part-time position requiring 20 hours per week in the office, with a schedule of Monday through Friday from 9am-1pm.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Provide high-touch technical assistance to our London office teams by resolving hardware, software, network, and account issues
- Efficiently research and resolve help desk support tickets involving hardware, software, and malware
- Assist in administering Google Workspace, Slack, VPNs, and MyTutor’s backend system
- Develop and maintain clear documentation for operational processes, training, and internal resources
- Be the face of IXL and MyTutor from our Old St office: Greet guests, handle incoming deliveries, and keep our day-to-day operations brilliantly organised
- Serve as the main UK point of contact for day-to-day business needs, coordinating cross-office operations and routing key documentation to US headquarters
- Lead onboardings for new hires with office tours, day-one desk setups, and welcome support
- Act as the primary contact for building management, assisting with facility needs, health and safety protocols, and fire drills
- Run ad-hoc business errands and assist with other general office operational duties as needed
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Hands-on experience in an IT technical support or a technical customer-facing role
- Practical, solutions-oriented mindset with a proven ability to research, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues across hardware, software, and everyday tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Slack)
- Energetic, dependable, and positive team player who thrives on setting colleagues up for success
- Exceptional organisational skills with a high attention to detail and a proactive approach to anticipating team needs
- Ability to prioritise daily tasks efficiently and work independently in an in-office environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a welcoming, customer-focused approach
