The role
We are seeking a passionate and driven IT Support Engineer to join our growing IT team in Malaga.
In this full-time role, you will play a key part in maintaining and supporting our IT infrastructure, helping to ensure seamless operations and minimal downtime. You’ll provide expert technical support, resolve IT issues and deliver outstanding customer service.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Acting as the primary point of contact for IT support, logging and managing tickets through the helpdesk
- Troubleshooting technical issues and escalating them when required to ensure timely resolution
- Monitoring system outages and following incident management and communication protocols
- Prioritising and managing incidents to minimise backlogs and business disruption
- Deploying, maintaining and supporting end-user devices, including laptops, mobile phones and printers
- Administering Active Directory, user accounts and access permissions
- Supporting on-site infrastructure, including servers, networks, audiovisual equipment and conferencing tools
- Managing IT assets, software licences and lifecycle processes
- Maintaining backups, updates and system performance across IT environments
- Contributing to IT projects, system improvements and process enhancements
The essentials
- A minimum of three years’ hands on experience as an IT Support Technician, IT Support Engineer or in a similar IT support role
- Experience providing IT support within a multi-site commercial environment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows Server and desktop environments
- Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy and Microsoft 365
- Experience with Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot and device deployment
- Exposure to virtualisation technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V, and backup tools such as Veeam
- A sound understanding of networking fundamentals and infrastructure support
- Experience managing vendors and external service providers
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- The ability to prioritise tasks, manage workloads and work independently
