As an IT Project Manager you will oversee and coordinate project workstreams within our Project Portfolio Management practice, helping move strategic initiatives from planning through delivery. As a Senior Associate you will analyze complex project details, guide workstreams, build meaningful client connections, and support teams as they navigate ambiguity, changing priorities, and stakeholder needs. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center Mexico, you will use project management methods, communication skills, and data-informed judgment to track progress, raise issues early, and help align delivery with budget, timeline, and broader business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Coordinating IT project workstreams from planning through delivery within established budgets and timelines
- Developing project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and status tracking for assigned engagements
- Managing project governance activities, including action logs, issue tracking, and change control documentation
- Interpreting project data to identify risks, dependencies, and delivery impacts, then recommending next steps
- Supporting project portfolio prioritization by organizing information on scope, resource needs, and delivery progress
- Using project management tools and methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and PMO practices to organize work
- Building client relationships by communicating project updates, clarifying requirements, and addressing delivery questions
- Guiding junior team members on project coordination tasks, documentation standards, and delivery processes
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 5 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
What Sets You Apart
- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Computer Science/Information Systems or similar
- Demonstrating project management coursework or internship experience
- Applying Agile methodology, Scrum, or Kanban in project delivery
- Interpreting data to inform project insights and recommendations
- Using project planning, governance, and risk tracking tools
- Developing client relationships through clear stakeholder communication
- Guiding junior team members while navigating ambiguous project work
