The company delivers locomotives and engines, trackwork, signaling, fasteners, and comprehensive locomotive and freight car services, along with aftermarket parts and recycling. About the role
Reporting to the IT Manager, you will work closely with employees, regional IT teams, and external vendors to deliver high-quality technical support and ensure business continuity across our operations.
About You
A Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
Microsoft certifications or equivalent technical qualifications.
3-5 years' experience in IT support, systems administration, or infrastructure support.
Experience supporting Microsoft Windows environments and Microsoft 365 applications.
Knowledge of computer hardware, software, printers, and mobile devices.
Experience managing user access and permissions.
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience working with service desk or ticketing systems
Responsibilities of the Position
Providing first and second-level IT support to end users.
Installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware, software, and end-user devices.
Supporting networks, telecommunications, and IT infrastructure.
Managing user accounts, access permissions, and security controls.
Troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
Maintaining IT asset registers and equipment inventories.
Supporting cybersecurity and information security compliance requirements
Coordinating with regional IT teams and third-party vendors.
Assisting with system upgrades, technology projects, and implementations.
Supporting backup, recovery, and business continuity activities
