About the role

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Senior Internal Sales Representative to join our Derwent Park branch.

This is an opportunity for a capable sales professional who can manage customer relationships, provide product and customer support, and contribute to branch sales performance.

You will act as a trusted point of contact for customers, working closely with the branch team to deliver responsive service, resolve enquiries and identify opportunities for growth.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage customer orders accurately and efficiently via phone, email and front counter.
• Provide advice on products, pricing, stock availability, deliveries and account enquiries.
• Build and strengthen long-term customer relationships, identifying opportunities to grow sales and improve service outcomes.
• Assist with customer enquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Support branch sales targets through proactive follow-up, quoting and customer engagement.
• Assist with pick packing and occasional customer deliveries.
• Work collaboratively with the branch team to maintain a safe, efficient and customer-focused operation.

Skills and experience:

To be successful, you will bring:

• Demonstrated internal sales, customer service or branch-based sales experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Intermediate computer skills and confidence learning new systems
• The ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment
• A proactive, reliable and team-oriented approach
• Valid driver's license – essential
• A mechanical aptitude or knowledge of bearings and power transmission products is advantageous, but not essential
