About the Role
This role is responsible for the coordination of Industrial Specialties accounts, working closely with the External Sales Team to ensure effective contract execution, bid support, and high‑quality customer service delivery. You will act as the day‑to‑day commercial interface for assigned customers—coordinating enquiries, quotations, tenders, contracts, and sales orders—while ensuring accuracy in systems, proactive issue resolution, and continuity of service for key customer relationships. This is a commercial support role with real accountability, supporting profitable growth.
What You'll Do
Prepare and submit EOI for Relevant work Packages
Order Processing
Work within organisational guidelines and Delegations of Authority processes to submit tender documentation, and standard quotations - ensuring alignment with project requirements (including via customer portals)
Supporting external sales team
Point of contact for customer
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, internal functions, and affilate factories.
Facilitate handover processes to Contract Management team for successful bids and work packages.
Maintain organized systems and processes for Tender documentation and ensure timely collection, organization, and filing of all relevant documents.
Price and Margin Management
Take reasonable care to ensure the health and safety of self and others
Report Injuries and Identified Hazards
Follow Prysmian OHSE Policies and Procedures.
Generating quotations that often are complex
Running backorder reports
Manage Timelines and Customer Expectations in line with bid requirements resolving conflicts efficiently.
Who You Are
Demonstrated experience in customer account coordination, contract administration, or customer care, ideally within a technical or industrial environment
Exposure to tender management and bid support is highly regarded
Strong Excel skills preferred, including use for pricing analysis, trackers, reporting, and contract support
Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering or a related field or equivalent work experience
Intermediate competencies in systems such as Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, PDF editor.
Commercially aware, detail‑focused, and comfortable managing multiple stakeholders
Proven ability to prioritise issues, manage risk, and take ownership through to resolution
Experience using ERP systems (SAP preferred)
