Responsibilities

• Conduct research on global macroeconomic events, policy developments, financial markets, and cryptocurrencies

• Support the preparation of materials for daily updates and weekly macro discussions
• Assist in developing, backtesting and optimising trading strategies and quantitative models.
• Update and improve trading analytics/visualisation tools for the desk.

Requirements

• Comfortable using AI coding/research assistants (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) as a working tool — able to prompt effectively, verify output, and use these tools to accelerate workflows without introducing errors into a live trading environment.

• Knowledge of Python for data analysis, automation, and visualisation is preferred.

• Proficiency with Bloomberg Terminal and Microsoft Excel (data analysis, pivot tables, charting) is preferred
