Summary
Join F&G as a Summer 2027 intern and gain relevant experience, professional development and incredible networking at a growing company. This position’s primary responsibility is to provide best-in-class phone and web-based support for agents and IMO marketers related to case design, product questions, competitive positioning, illustration software training and more. This role will also support data operations through the use of Tableau.
Organization
This position reports to AVP, Internal Sales
Duties & Responsibilities
The range of tasks to be performed may include, but may not be limited to, the following:
- Grow multi-line sales within our IMO channel distribution
- Demonstrate thorough, in-depth knowledge of company products, practices, and procedures.
- Learn about sales and marketing support for agents and marketers using virtual web-based platforms such as WebEx or Teams.
- Sales activities to include: extensive outbound and inbound phone activity, virtual trainings and coordination of marketing materials
- Develop expert knowledge and proficiency in utilizing all applications i.e.: Agent portal, illustration software
- Use Tableau to pull and manipulate data
- Create standardized emails to send via Salesforce and run the shared email inbox for the team
- Work in collaboration with other members of the Distribution team such as National Account VP’s, Regional Directors, Senior Internal Wholesalers and Internal Wholesalers
- Intern will complete a scheduled rotation throughout the summer to gain experience and knowledge in both life and annuity sales
Experience & Education Requirements
- A junior or senior-level student or recent college graduate who is studying/studied business, marketing, management, sales or related field
- Previous sales experience desired
- General knowledge on economics and financial planning desired

- Advanced knowledge of MS Office, Word, Excel and Power Point required
- Technologically proficient and knowledgeable in contact management applications, illustration tools and sales support systems; Salesforce CRM experience preferred
