The Baker Hughes Internship is designed to enable students either pursuing a Bachelors’ or Masters’ degree or recently graduated to gain hands-on work experience as the foundation of their professional lives. Our internships will give you first-hand insights into the processes, systems, and practices that are aligned to ensure customer needs are met through flawless execution and the application of leading-edge technology.

During your internship, you will be supported by a buddy and your manager who will ensure you have a valuable learning experience. You can expect to receive coaching and mentoring to enable you to complete assignments and projects to develop your learning and skillset.

As an Intern, you will be responsible for: 

• Completing internal projects to deliver customer outcomes and identify business improvements 
• Learning internal software to assist with the completion of projects and tasks 
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams and interns to interact and network with global business leaders 
• Applying Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) standards and procedures in all situations to ensure compliance is maintained 
• Participating in the development of long-term aftermarkets contracts with multicultural and international customers and stakeholders.
• Collaborating with international teams and engaging with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Gaining exposure to business processes and understanding how different functions operate within the company.
• Assisting with the development and maintenance of contractual standards, templates, and risk management documentation.
• Coordinating recurring review and approval workflows, ensuring timely follow-up with stakeholders across different functions and regions.
• Assisting in the analysis and monitoring of Contract Portfolio Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and related reporting activities.
• Helping maintain and improve dashboards, metrics, and business reports.
• Supporting the update and continuous improvement of risk procedures and operating instructions.
• Contributing to process improvement and data quality initiatives by maintaining accurate records within company systems and databases.
• Supporting digitalization and automation initiatives through tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, Excel, and other analytics solutions.  

Fuel your passion 

To be successful in this role you will: 

• Be currently enrolled or recently graduated in a Bachelors’ or Masters’ level degree in Engineering, Economy, Technology, Mechanics, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Management Engineering, other STEM-related or business-related program.
• Have good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, possess at least a basic understanding of Power BI principles is considered a plus.
• Be comfortable working with data and transforming information into meaningful insights.
• High motivation level.
• Show strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Have maintained a GPA grade greater than or equal to 3.0 out of 4.0 or the equivalent in your country.
• Be fluent in oral and written English and have effective communication skills.
• Be able to legally work in the country that you are applying in, without company sponsorship or time restriction

The fixed allowance for this position will be between this range: 600 - 1000 € gross monthly.

The allowance will be established in accordance with criteria related to the candidate’s academic status and their distance from the workplace.
