The Opportunity

We are seeking a Student Intern to support gas quality and measurement operations through data analysis, reporting, laboratory coordination, and asset management activities. This opportunity will provide hands-on experience working with operational data, maintaining performance dashboards, supporting inventory management processes, and contributing to laboratory sample coordination activities. The Student Intern will collaborate with cross-functional teams while gaining exposure to operational efficiency initiatives, asset optimization efforts, and measurement systems that support the safe and reliable operation of energy infrastructure.

What you'll do

• Support gas quality and measurement operations through data analysis and reporting activities
• Maintain operational dashboards and performance reporting tools
• Assist with analyzer and chromatograph inventory management processes
• Coordinate laboratory sample tracking and related administrative activities
• Analyze meter station data to identify opportunities for operational efficiency and asset optimization
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support measurement and operational initiatives
• Contribute to data collection, validation, and reporting processes that support business decision-making

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Chemistry or Data Analysis degree program
• Completion of at least one academic term prior to the start of the work term in May 2027
• Returning to full-time studies immediately following the work term
• Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for the duration of the work term

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Microsoft tools that support data analysis and visualization
• Experience with data analysis and reporting
• Exposure to dashboard development and maintenance
• Knowledge of asset management processes
• Experience working with operational or laboratory data
• Demonstrate a safety mindset, in a professional and personal setting
• Exhibit the TC Energy corporate values and incorporate them into work activities and initiatives
• Strong interpersonal and communicative skills to work efficiently in a collaborative team environment
• Commitment to building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to accurately analyze information and deal with ambiguity

• Ability to multi-task effectively, with strong organizational and time management skills
