Über diese Intermediate Quality Assurance Analyst - NBI Stelle bei Valsoft Corporation
Aspire Software is looking for an Intermediate Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team in Lebanon.
Here is a little window into our company: Aspire Software operates and manages wholly owned software companies, providing mission-critical solutions across multiple verticals. By implementing industry best practices, Aspire delivers a time sensitive integration process, and the operation of a decentralized model has allowed it to become a hub for creating rapid growth by reinvesting in its portfolio.
About the Job:
The first months in this role are focused squarely on automating regression across the platform. You will work within the Qa team, reporting to the QA Manager. You'll inherit a mixed landscape of Playwright, Postman, Selenium, and Datadog-based automation and be expected to consolidate it into something coherent, maintainable, and genuinely useful.
This is not a role for someone who writes test scripts to a ticket queue. We're looking for someone who thinks critically about test architecture, uses AI tooling as a force multiplier rather than a shortcut, and has the scripting depth to build automation that actually survives contact with a changing codebase.
Key responsibilities
Regression Automation and Test Architecture
- Drive the evolution of our AI-augmented automation framework using Claude code and Playwright MCP to build the automated regression suite across web (React / AngularJS), API, and mobile (React Native) surfaces.
- Structure test architecture for maintainability: page object models, stable selectors, environment-aware configuration, and clear separation between smoke, regression, and integration suites.
- Integrate Postman collections into the CI/CD pipeline for API-level coverage, including Sadie, iPOS, and email integration endpoints.
- Own the migration and consolidation of existing Selenium and Datadog-based automation into the target toolchain, deprecating fragmented coverage as consolidated suites reach parity.
- Manage test case organisation and coverage tracking in Testomat.io, ensuring the test library reflects the current product and remains actionable.
AI-Augmented Testing Practice
- Accelerate AI driven testing using AI tools actively and critically for test generation, improved coverage analysis, and to identify gaps rather than relying on AI output uncritically.
- Scale autonomous testing by expanding and refining our library of custom Claude skills to achieve consistent, self-healing and resilient test execution.
- Contribute to the team's emerging standards for AI-assisted QA: what AI does well, where human judgement is required, and how to review and validate generated test logic.
- Identify opportunities to apply AI to test data generation, selector maintenance, and failure triage, and build repeatable patterns the wider QA function can adopt.
Platform Integration and Delivery Alignment
- Work within GitLab CI/CD pipelines to integrate automation runs into the build and deployment process, targeting pre-merge and post-deploy execution stages.
- Collaborate with the QA Manager to align automation coverage with the manual test suite in Testomat.io, avoiding duplication and ensuring automation is targeted where it adds most value.
- Contribute to the team's Shape Up delivery rhythm: scoped automation work will be shaped as pitches, executed within fixed cycles, and shipped to a defined standard.
- Surface flaky tests, coverage gaps, and reliability issues proactively rather than waiting for release failures to expose them.
About You
You are a scripting-first automation engineer who brings genuine depth to test architecture, not just tool familiarity. You are comfortable working across web, API, mobile, and integration surfaces, and you use AI tooling as a multiplier for your own judgement, not a replacement for it. You care about quality as an outcome, not a process checkbox.
Requirements
- Strong scripting ability in JavaScript or TypeScript, with the depth to write maintainable, structured automation rather than brittle scripts
- AI tooling mastery, with hands on experience with Claude Code CLI, MCP servers or similar LLM-driven development tools
- Demonstrated prompt engineering skills with a proven ability to write, version and optimise LLM prompts and structured Claude skills along with the critical judgement to review and validate AI-generated output
- Hands-on Playwright experience across browser automation, including page object model patterns, environment configuration, and CI integration
- Postman experience for API test authoring and collection-based pipeline integration
- Demonstrated use of AI coding tools (Claude, Copilot, or equivalent) in a testing context, with the critical judgement to review and validate AI-generated output
- Experience integrating automated tests into GitLab CI/CD pipelines (or equivalent: GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
- Hands-on experience automating mobile app testing, including React Native or equivalent cross-platform frameworks, covering UI flows, device/emulator configuration, and integration with CI pipelines
- Ability to read and understand application code sufficiently to write tests against it, trace failures to root causes, and identify testable boundaries
- Experience working in a multi-surface environment covering web frontend, REST APIs, and mobile
Highly Desirable
- Testomat.io experience for test management, coverage mapping, and CI integration
- Familiarity with Selenium and an ability to assess and migrate existing Selenium-based suites
- Experience with React-based frontends and an understanding of component-level testability
- Exposure to React Native or mobile automation frameworks beyond the essentials (e.g. Detox, Appium, or Maestro)
- Familiarity with Linear for work tracking and Notion for documentation, consistent with how the team operates
- Prior experience in a SaaS or platform engineering environment where test reliability directly affects release confidence
What's in It for You
This is a role where you will own something that matters from day one. Automated regression is a critical-path deliverable for NBI's transformation, and the work you do in the first few months will directly shape how confidently and frequently the engineering team can ship. You'll work across a modern, evolving stack with genuine latitude to shape the automation architecture rather than inherit someone else's unmaintainable framework.
You'll be close to the engineering and QA practice, connected to Platform and Security leadership, and working in a team that takes quality seriously as a shared responsibility, not a gate at the end of the pipeline. The tooling is modern (GitLab, Linear, Notion, Testomat, Playwright), the environment is remote-first, and the work is consequential
