Job Description Summary

C&W Services is seeking a strategic, results-driven Industrial Facilities Account Manager to lead the delivery of integrated facilities and production maintenance services across a large, multi-site industrial manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for the overall account performance, including profit and loss management, client relationship leadership, operational excellence, workforce management, and contract compliance.

The Industrial Facilities Account Manager will oversee a workforce of more than responsible for delivering critical facility and production support services, including industrial maintenance, electrical services, HVAC, sanitation, janitorial, and production equipment maintenance. This leader will drive safety, reliability, service quality, employee engagement, and financial performance while serving as the primary liaison between C&W Services and the client.

The successful candidate will possess a strong combination of operational leadership, industrial maintenance expertise, business acumen, and client-facing skills, with the ability to lead large teams in a complex manufacturing environment where uptime, safety, and service delivery are mission critical.

Job Description

Financial & Business Leadership

  • Own full account P&L performance, including budgeting, forecasting, labor management, productivity initiatives, and cost control.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve financial, operational, and client satisfaction objectives.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities that enhance operational efficiency while reducing costs.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), contract deliverables, and service level agreements to ensure account success.
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews to senior leadership and client stakeholders.
  • Manage capital projects, maintenance expenditures, and operational investments to maximize return and service reliability.

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary executive contact for the client, building trusted partnerships through responsive leadership and exceptional service delivery.
  • Develop strong relationships with plant leadership, operations stakeholders, and corporate decision-makers.
  • Lead regular operational, performance, and strategic business review meetings.
  • Address complex operational challenges proactively and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to expand service offerings and strengthen overall account value.

Operations Leadership

  • Direct all day-to-day facilities management and industrial maintenance operations across multiple locations.
  • Ensure safe, reliable, and efficient delivery of services including:
    • Industrial Production Maintenance
    • Preventive and Predictive Maintenance Programs
    • Electrical Maintenance
    • HVAC Maintenance
    • Mechanical Systems Maintenance
    • Sanitation Services
    • Janitorial Services
    • Building Maintenance and Facility Support
  • Drive operational excellence through standardized processes, performance management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations, company standards, regulatory requirements, and safety expectations.
  • Partner with site leaders to optimize maintenance strategies and improve equipment reliability and production uptime.

People Leadership

  • Lead, develop, and inspire a workforce of 145+ employees, including managers, supervisors, maintenance technicians, electricians, HVAC technicians, sanitation personnel, and support staff.
  • Build a culture centered on safety, accountability, performance, engagement, and continuous improvement.
  • Recruit, develop, retain, and succession-plan key talent across the account.
  • Establish clear performance expectations and hold leaders accountable for results.
  • Coach and mentor site leadership teams to strengthen operational and leadership capabilities.
  • Partner with Human Resources regarding workforce planning, employee relations, talent development, and organizational effectiveness.

Safety & Compliance

  • Champion a world-class safety culture with zero-injury objectives and proactive risk management practices.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, environmental requirements, and all company safety standards.
  • Lead incident investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Conduct regular site audits, inspections, and performance reviews to maintain compliance and operational excellence.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Business Administration, Industrial Technology, Operations Management, or related field; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience within industrial maintenance, manufacturing operations, facilities management, or integrated facilities services environments.
  • 5+ years of experience leading large-scale operations with full P&L responsibility.
  • Experience managing multi-site operations and large workforce populations of 100+ employees.
  • Demonstrated success in client relationship management within outsourced services, industrial operations, facilities management, or manufacturing environments.
  • Strong experience managing maintenance operations involving production equipment, industrial systems, and facility infrastructure.
  • Proven ability to lead through complexity, drive operational improvements, and achieve financial objectives.
  • Experience developing and managing annual operating budgets and forecasting processes.
  • Strong understanding of maintenance reliability principles, preventive maintenance programs, and operational excellence methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a technical discipline.
  • MBA or advanced business degree.
  • Certified Facility Manager (CFM), Facilities Management Professional (FMP), Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP), or similar professional certification.
  • Experience supporting food processing, agricultural processing, manufacturing, or heavy industrial production environments.
  • Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, Reliability Excellence, or Continuous Improvement experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Exceptional leadership presence with the ability to influence executives, plant leadership, and frontline teams.
  • Strong business and financial acumen with extensive P&L management expertise.
  • Advanced problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across geographically dispersed operations.
  • Strong understanding of industrial maintenance, facility operations, HVAC, electrical systems, sanitation programs, and janitorial services.
  • Proven ability to build high-performing teams and drive accountability at all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated resilience, adaptability, and leadership under pressure in demanding production environments.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.


The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.


The compensation for the position is: $ 106,250.00 - $125,000.00
