We are currently sourcing for our client an MNC ship management company for experienced Indonesian Engineering Crew / Seafarers / Engineer with proven onboard experience on tanker vessels

We are seeking qualified and experienced marine engineering professionals with relevant tanker vessel experience including rating. Suitable candidates may be considered for various engineering ranks, depending on qualifications, certification, sea service, vessel experience and operational requirements. For other Indonesian crews of other qualification, you can also deposit your CV for future opening if any

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out the safe and efficient operation, maintenance and repair of vessel machinery and engineering systems.
• Monitor and maintain main engines, auxiliary engines, pumps, compressors and other machinery.
• Carry out preventive and planned maintenance in accordance with vessel procedures and company requirements.
• Monitor engineering systems and machinery performance and report any defects or abnormalities.
• Assist with troubleshooting and corrective maintenance when required.
• Maintain accurate engine-room records, maintenance records and operational logs.
• Ensure all engineering activities are carried out in accordance with company procedures, vessel requirements and applicable maritime regulations.
• Support safe cargo and vessel operations where required.
• Participate in emergency drills, safety activities and onboard safety management procedures.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, safety and environmental compliance within the engine department.
• Work closely with the Chief Engineer, engineering team and other vessel departments to ensure safe and efficient vessel operations.
  

Requirements

• Indonesian nationality.

• Experienced in LPG and LNG Vessels will be advantage
• Relevant marine engineering qualifications and valid STCW certification.
• Proven onboard experience in an engineering role on tanker vessels.
• Relevant sea service and experience appropriate to the rank applied for.
• Good knowledge of marine engineering systems, machinery maintenance and safe engine-room operations.
• Good understanding of onboard safety procedures and maritime regulations.
• Able to communicate effectively in English.
• Strong safety awareness, discipline and teamwork.
• Candidates with experience working for international shipowners or ship management companies will be highly regarded.
• For those Indonesian seafarer not in the above qualification, you can also deposit your resume to us for future opening
• We are not manning agencies and selected candidates will be under the direct payroll of the ship management and their appointed manning agencies
