– SAP MM Consultant (S/4HANA) 

Role: SAP MM Consultant – S/4HANA 

Experience: 10+ Years 

Domain Preference: Manufacturing & Supply Chain background  

Location: Preferably Bangalore 

We are seeking a Senior SAP MM (Materials Management) Consultant with 10+ years of strong configuration-focused experience to support HPE's procurement, inventory, and supply chain operations. The candidate should bring deep expertise across procurement processes, special procurement scenarios, master data management, and cross-module integrations, with a solid understanding of manufacturing industry requirements. 

Responsibilities 

• Lead end-to-end SAP MM configuration across core and advanced procurement processes. 

• Configure and support: 

• Procurement (P2P cycle) 

• Purchase Order processing 

• Inventory Management 

• Invoice Verification (LIV) 

• MRP (Material Requirements Planning) 

• Vendor Management 

• Material Master Management 

• Design and implement special procurement scenarios: 

• Subcontracting 

• Stock Transport Orders (STO) 

• Inter-company procurement 

• Consignment 

• Batch Management 

• Manage Master Data loads and governance (material, vendor, info records, source lists). 

• Support Shipping and Delivery processes in coordination with SD-LE. 

• Drive EDI integration for procurement documents (POs, ASNs, Invoices, etc.). 

• Lead SAP Ariba integration with SAP MM for streamlined procurement and supplier collaboration. 

• Ensure seamless cross-module integration with FI, SD, PP, and WM. 

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate manufacturing and supply chain requirements into SAP solutions. 

• Troubleshoot complex production issues and recommend best practices. 

Must-Have Skills 

• 10+ years of hands-on SAP MM configuration experience. 

• Strong expertise in: 

• Procurement, Purchase Orders, Inventory Management, Invoice Verification, MRP, Vendor Management 

• Subcontracting, STO, Inter-company, Consignment, Batch Management 

• Material Master & Master Data loads 

• Shipping & Delivery process coordination 

• EDI integration with MM (IDocs: ORDERS, DESADV, INVOIC, etc.) 

• SAP Ariba integration with MM 

• Strong cross-module integration knowledge with FI, SD, PP, and WM. 

• Proven ability to engage with business stakeholders and deliver configuration-driven solutions. 

Good-to-Have 

• Experience with S/4HANA Sourcing & Procurement. 

• Exposure to SAP Fiori apps for MM. 

• Knowledge of central procurement / MDG for vendor and material data. 

• Prior experience in the manufacturing industry.
