About the Role 

The Global Design Production Studio at Salesforce is transforming how creative work is produced through the thoughtful integration of Generative AI, world-class craftsmanship, and production excellence.

We're looking for an Imaging Production Specialist who combines the traditional skills of a high-end retoucher with the technical curiosity of an AI workflow expert.

In this role, you'll partner closely with Creative Directors, Designers, Producers, and external production vendors to transform AI-generated concepts into production-ready artwork suitable for some of Salesforce's highest visibility marketing campaigns—including large-format environmental graphics, event experiences, digital campaigns, web, and print.

Success in this role requires someone equally comfortable refining imagery pixel-by-pixel in Photoshop as they are experimenting with emerging AI platforms, automation workflows, and image enhancement technologies.

What you’ll do 

• Transform AI-generated imagery into polished, production-ready assets through expert retouching, compositing, reconstruction, and enhancement.

• Create original visual concepts using industry-leading Generative AI platforms from creative briefs and art direction.

• Partner with Creative Directors and Designers to rapidly iterate concepts through effective prompt engineering and AI workflow development.

• Prepare imagery for large-format print production while maintaining exceptional visual fidelity.

• Utilize AI upscaling, restoration, and image enhancement technologies to achieve print-ready resolution without sacrificing quality.

• Perform advanced Photoshop retouching including compositing, masking, color correction, lighting adjustments, cleanup, texture rebuilding, and image reconstruction.

• Collaborate with printers & producers to ensure files meet production specifications across a variety of printing methods and substrates.

• Understand color management, RGB/CMYK workflows, ICC profiles, image resolution requirements, and print production best practices.

• Develop repeatable workflows that leverage AI to improve speed, consistency, and creative quality.

• Evaluate emerging AI tools and technologies, recommending improvements to the team's production capabilities.

• Help establish standards and best practices for AI image creation across the Global Production Studio.

Required Qualifications 

• 8+ years of professional experience in image retouching, digital imaging, pre-press, or creative production.

• Expert-level Adobe Photoshop skills.

• Professional experience creating imagery with Generative AI platforms (Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, FLUX, OpenAI image generation, or similar).

• Strong understanding of prompt engineering and iterative creative workflows.

• Experience preparing assets for commercial print production.

• Deep understanding of image resolution, scaling, color management, file preparation, and production specifications.

• Experience collaborating with creative teams to translate concepts into production-ready visual assets.

• Strong organizational skills with excellent file management and version control.

• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience working with large-format environmental graphics, event graphics, or experiential marketing.

• Knowledge of AI upscaling technologies such as Topaz, Magnific, Gigapixel, or similar image enhancement platforms.

• Experience building workflow automations using scripting, APIs, or creative production tools.

• Familiarity with print vendors, prepress processes, proofing, and production approvals.

• Experience working in enterprise marketing or agency environments.

• Familiarity with Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems.

• Experience evaluating and adopting emerging AI technologies.
