The Identity & Security Engineer is responsible for supporting the design, implementation and monitoring of Identity and Access Management (IAM) and security controls across the organization, including Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 security technologies.

Main Accountabilities

• Manages user identities, access rights and role assignments across Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
• Configures and monitors MFA and Conditional Access policies to safeguard organizational systems and data.
• Performs periodic access reviews to ensure compliance with security policies and least-privilege principles.
• Investigates and troubleshoots security incidents, escalating complex issues to senior security staff when required.
• Administers and maintains security configurations within Microsoft 365 and related Microsoft security technologies.
• Collaborates with infrastructure and security teams to identify, assess and remediate access-related risks.
• Documents IAM processes, procedures and configurations to support consistency and audit readiness.

Requirements

Education, Experience and Technical Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or related field
• Master's degree or relevant certifications will be considered an asset.
• Approximately 1–3 years of relevant experience in IT or Security, ideally with exposure to Identity and Access Management.
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
• Knowledge of IAM/PAM concepts, MFA, Conditional Access and Microsoft 365 security technologies.
• Knowledge of Windows Server administration and networking fundamentals.
• Strong troubleshooting skills, analytical thinking and willingness to learn.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Greek.
