Summary of the Role

The ICT Regional Data Integration is focused on Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and reliable ETL pipelines using Microsoft SQL Server technologies (SSIS), ensuring efficient data ingestion, transformation, and integration across enterprise systems. This role is critical in enabling high-quality, consistent, and timely data delivery to support analytics, reporting, and business decision-making.

Key Functions/ Responsibilities

1. Data Integration & ETL Development

• Design & Deploy: Build, develop, and deploy robust SSIS packages for complex data integration workflows.

• Pipeline Management: Construct and maintain end-to-end ETL pipelines handling data extraction from multiple sources (ERP, CRM, flat files, APIs), applying transformation logic aligned with business rules, and loading data into data warehouse/data platform layers.

• Performance Optimization: Optimize SSIS packages for maximum performance (parallelization, indexing awareness), maintainability (modular design), and comprehensive error handling and logging.

• Data Ingestion: Develop and manage batch ingestion (scheduled ETL jobs) and incremental/delta data loads.

• Systems Integration: Seamlessly integrate data from SQL Server, external databases, flat files (CSV, Excel), APIs, and third-party systems while ensuring data consistency across multiple source systems.

• Platform Onboarding: Support the onboarding of new data sources into the core data platform.

2. Data Transformation & Modeling

• Implement critical data transformation logic, including data cleansing, standardization, enrichment, and business rules application.

• Support data transformation initiatives aligned strictly to data models (fact and dimension structures).

• Partner closely with the Data and Business Analyst teams to ensure delivered data is optimally structured for analytics consumption.

3. Data Jobs Scheduling & Automation

• Configure and manage SQL Server Agent jobs alongside ETL scheduling and orchestration tools.

• Automate data processes to guarantee timely execution of pipelines with minimal manual intervention.

• Support complex dependency handling between sequential data workflows.

Education & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or an equivalent field.

• Certifications (Preferred/Required):

• Microsoft SQL Certification

• Microsoft Data Platforms (Power BI and Fabric)

• ITIL Certification

• Microsoft O365 Platform
