About the Role

Hastings Deering is expanding our team on-site, and 2026 brings exciting opportunities to work on our fleet of 796AC trucks. You will work as part of a site-based team supporting activities at Carmichael Mine. Working a Day/Night 7/7 roster with coal mine rates, incentives and allowances!

As a HV Electrician at Hastings Deering, you will:

• Manage 796 Truck Fleet Performance maintenance at including performance maintenance and diagnostics

• Provide outstanding customer service by ensuring our valued customers are kept well informed of all matters in relation to job progress, repairs and costs

• Manage stakeholder engagement both internally and externally regarding parts and supply

• Prepare accurate and timely service reports, inspection reports, timecards and parts requests

• Support the sale of genuine parts, and when requested, give guidance and advice to the customer on supply of genuine parts.

About You

A successful teammate will have experience in:  

• High Voltage / Electrical Mechanical Fitter trade qualifications

• Suitable Licenses and Tickets to Perform High Risk

• Preferable to hold a current coal board medical and Std 11

• Demonstrated industry experience in earthmoving, construction, quarrying and/or open cut mining

• Well-developed communication and customer service skills

• Demonstrated and proven ability with electronic devices and or experience on Caterpillar Diagnostic and information systems

• Commitment to a high level of workplace health and safety

• CATERPILLAR dealer experience highly regarded but not essential
