Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP Public Cloud SCM Consultant to support the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the ERP Supply Chain Management (SCM) processes for the Hungary and other European subsidiaries. This position will be responsible for managing SAP Public Cloud SCM modules, supporting daily operations, and ensuring stable ERP performance aligned with business requirements.
The role will also actively participate in global ERP rollout and enhancement projects across overseas subsidiaries and work as a member of the Global ERP Implementation Organization, collaborating closely with global business and IT teams.

Key Responsibilities

ERP Operation & Maintenance (Hungary Subsidiary)

• Provide day-to-day operational support for SAP Public Cloud SCM modules, ensuring stable system performance and business continuity.
• Manage incident resolution, service requests, and user support related to procurement, inventory management, production planning, and logistics processes.
• Perform configuration adjustments and minor enhancements to support evolving business requirements.
• Coordinate with local supply chain and logistics teams to ensure accurate transaction processing and operational efficiency.
• Monitor system performance, identify operational risks, and implement preventive measures to ensure system stability.
• Manage change requests, testing, and deployment activities following global ERP governance procedures.

Global ERP Project Participation

• Participate in global ERP rollout and enhancement projects for overseas subsidiaries as an SAP SCM functional consultant.
• Conduct requirement analysis, solution design, system configuration, testing, and go-live support activities.
• Collaborate with global project teams, integration partners, and business stakeholders to ensure successful ERP implementation.
• Support global template standardization and localization requirements for regional business units.

ERP Governance & Collaboration

• Work closely with the Global ERP organization to maintain system standards, documentation, and best practices.
• Prepare and maintain functional specifications, configuration documentation, and operational procedures.
• Provide user training and operational guidance for supply chain and operations users when necessary.
• Continuously identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within the ERP environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP SD/MM consulting or ERP Supply Chain system implementation and operation.
• Strong functional knowledge of supply chain processes including procurement, inventory management and logistics execution.
• Experience supporting ERP system operation, incident handling, and user support activities.
• Experience participating in ERP implementation or rollout projects.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with global business users, IT, and external partners.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into functional system solutions.
• Experience working in multinational or global ERP environments is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud SCM modules.
• Experience supporting multinational ERP operations across multiple subsidiaries.
• Experience in pharmaceutical industry supply chain processes.
• Experience working within global ERP governance or template-based rollout programs.
• System interface experience would plus.
