Crown Australia is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to provide strategic and operational HR support across our Queensland, Northern Territory and South Australian branches.

In this generalist role, you will partner with Branch Managers to deliver people-focused solutions that drive business performance and workforce capability. Supported by the Human Resources Operations Manager, you will be the primary HR contact for your designated branches, leading day-to-day HR activities and supporting leaders across a broad range of people matters.

You will be responsible for managing a broad range of HR activities, including recruitment and workforce planning, employee lifecycle administration, coaching and supporting leaders, performance management and employee relations.

While supporting your designated branches, you will work as part of a national HR team, ensuring a consistent and aligned approach to HR practices, policies, and people initiatives across the business.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with leaders to deliver effective people solutions that align with business goals.
• Act as the primary HR contact for designated branches, providing consistent operational and administrative HR support.
• Manage and take ownership of end-to-end HR administration activities across the employee lifecycle, including recruitment coordination, onboarding, employment changes, documentation, and offboarding processes.
• Coordinate and manage recruitment activities for assigned branches, partnering with hiring managers to attract and secure talent
• Provide advice, coaching, and guidance to managers on employee relations matters, performance management, workforce planning, and people management practices, escalating matters as required.
• Support the implementation of national HR initiatives, organisational change, restructures, and projects within designated branches, ensuring a consistent approach across the organisation.
• Build effective relationships with branch leadership teams to support operational objectives while ensuring alignment with national HR strategies and frameworks.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation, Modern Awards, Enterprise Agreements, policies and procedures.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of HR strategies that enhance employee engagement and organisational effectiveness.

About You:

• Proven experience in a HR Generalist or HR Business Partner role.
• Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication, influencing and relationship building skills.
• Proven experience in managing employee relation matters.
• A passion for people, culture and making work a better and more positive environment.
• A proactive approach to solving problems and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Confidence to coach, challenge and collaborate with leaders at all levels of business.
