Help shape how People Operations works at Kambi, from creating a great employee experience in Stockholm to improving processes used across our international People organisation.
As a People Operations Specialist, you’ll have a hands-on role across the employee lifecycle while also helping us make our People processes simpler, more consistent and more effective. You’ll support colleagues and managers day to day, contribute to HR systems integration and explore practical, responsible ways AI can improve how we work.
Based in our Stockholm office, you’ll work in line with Kambi’s hybrid approach, spending three days a week in the office.
About the team
Kambi is a B2B provider of sports betting services to licensed gaming operators. Technology, collaboration and the experience we create for our people and customers are central to how we work.
You’ll join our Global People Operations team, working closely with colleagues across the wider People organisation. While your main focus will be supporting our Stockholm operations, you’ll also have opportunities to contribute to global People initiatives and help develop more consistent ways of working across our international locations.
This is a role for someone who enjoys the detail of excellent HR operations but also asks, “How could we make this work better?”
What you’ll do
You’ll take ownership of core People Operations activities while helping us continuously improve how we support employees and managers. You will:
- Support the employee lifecycle in Stockholm, including onboarding, offboarding, absence management and HR documentation, helping create a smooth experience for employees and managers.
- Act as a trusted first point of contact for Stockholm employees and managers, providing clear guidance on People policies, processes and internal systems.
- Coordinate HR administration and payroll activities, partnering with outsourced providers to support accurate, compliant and timely processes in Stockholm, with occasional support for other locations.
- Support employee relations processes, including performance improvement plans, disciplinary procedures and grievances, alongside operational support for recruitment.
- Improve how People Operations works by mapping end-to-end processes, identifying gaps and dependencies, and helping implement simpler and more effective ways of working.
- Contribute to HR systems integration, supporting testing, data validation, issue resolution and coordination with relevant stakeholders.
- Help embed responsible uses of AI within People Operations, identifying practical opportunities while maintaining appropriate standards for data quality and controls.
- Maintain accurate People data and documentation, improve internal HR communication channels and contribute to employee activities and wider global People initiatives.
What you’ll bring
We’re looking for someone who combines strong HR operations knowledge with curiosity, sound judgement and a genuine desire to help people.
You’ll bring:
- Previous experience in an HR administrative or People Operations role.
- Practical knowledge and experience of payroll, benefits and immigration processes.
- Knowledge of Swedish employment legislation, alongside experience supporting international employee groups.
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate data and confidently handle confidential information.
- A proactive approach to solving problems, improving processes and following work through to completion.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to work effectively with colleagues across different locations and cultures.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Nice to have
It would be useful, but isn't essential, if you have experience with:
- HR software or databases.
- HR system changes or integrations.
- Process mapping and continuous improvement.
- Supporting the adoption of AI-enabled tools in an HR or People Operations environment.
Above all, you’ll be approachable, collaborative and comfortable taking initiative. If you meet most of the essentials and believe your transferable experience could help you succeed in the role, we’d encourage you to apply.
Practical details
- Location: Stockholm
- Working model: Hybrid, with three days per week in the office
- Benefits: Competitive salary and benefits package
You’ll join a fun, supportive and collaborative environment where you can contribute both to the everyday employee experience and to improving the way our People Operations function works.
