Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
As our business grows, we are expanding our People team with an additional HR Coordinator to support our colleagues and help deliver new People initiatives.
We are looking for an experienced HR professional who combines excellent coordination and administration skills with a passion for creating a great employee experience. You will build trusted relationships, listen to colleagues and take initiative to make their experience better—helping people feel welcomed, supported and valued throughout their time with us.
Working alongside our existing HR Coordinator, HR Advisor and HR Manager, you will deliver an approachable, responsive and accurate HR service. Responsibilities will be shared across the team, with individual areas agreed and adapted as our priorities develop.
Across your agreed areas, you will:
- Build relationships and provide helpful, personal HR support. Be an approachable first point of contact for colleagues and managers, taking time to understand their needs, explaining information clearly and following queries through to resolution, involving the wider HR team where needed.
- Coordinate a welcoming onboarding and thoughtful offboarding experience. Manage the relevant checks, contracts, induction arrangements and leaver activities, keeping colleagues informed and supported at each stage.
- Maintain accurate HR records and support our systems. Help colleagues and managers use Inspire and our other People platforms confidently, protect confidential information and identify ways to make everyday activities easier.
- Prepare and check monthly payroll changes. Ensure information is accurate and submitted on time, working with relevant colleagues to resolve discrepancies and respond sensitively to queries.
- Support benefits and performance activities. Coordinate benefits administration and performance review activities, helping colleagues understand their benefits and supporting managers and employees to use our performance platform for meaningful conversations.
- Coordinate learning and career development activities. Organise training through InformedACADEMY©, maintain records and support development requests, helping colleagues access opportunities and gathering feedback to improve their experience.
- Support clear and accessible policies and guidance. Coordinate updates and communications, help colleagues find and understand information, and highlight areas that need more clarity or support.
- Help deliver initiatives across our People mission streams: Benefits and Performance, Learning and Career Development, and Governance and Policies. Coordinate activities and communications, follow up on actions and engage colleagues to encourage participation and gather feedback.
- Help improve the way we support our people. Work closely with the other HR Coordinator to balance workloads and provide cover, share ideas and use colleague feedback to improve our service as we grow.

You will ideally hold a CIPD Level 3 qualification, or be working towards one, and bring the practical experience to contribute confidently in a growing business.
Alongside strong HR administration and coordination skills, you will have a passion for delivering an exceptional employee experience. You will care about how colleagues experience our support, notice the details that make a difference and take initiative to improve things.
Our new colleague will also be able to demonstrate:
- An eye for the employee experience, recognising where a process, communication or interaction could be more welcoming, clear or helpful, and suggesting practical improvements.
- Strong interpersonal skills and empathy, with the confidence to engage colleagues at all levels, listen carefully and build trusted working relationships.
- Clear and thoughtful communication, adapting your approach to different people and situations and making HR information easy to understand.
- A proactive, hands-on approach, taking ownership, following through and using sound judgement to resolve queries or seek support.
- Excellent organisation and time management, balancing day-to-day queries, recurring activities and new initiatives while responding to changing priorities.
- Accuracy, discretion and attention to detail, maintaining reliable records and handling sensitive information with care.
