BAYADA Home Health Care is offering a TWO DAY COURSE incorporating basic regulatory, compliance, and personal care skills for a Direct Care Worker, DCW, graduate to provide care for adults in our Assistive Care State Programs practice.

Qualifications for Direct Care Workers, DCW:
- Successfully complete Direct Care Worker Course, provided by BAYADA
Job Responsibilities for Direct Care Workers, DCW:
- Activities of daily living
- Light housekeeping
- Bathing
- Grooming
- Toileting
- Nail care
- Range of motion / exercises
- Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
- Oral feeding
- Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
- Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
- Assisting with ambulation
- Medication assistance

BAYADA Home Health Care is offering a FREE training program incorporating basic regulatory, compliance, and personal care skills for a Direct Care Worker, DCW, graduate to provide care for Home Care Adult Clients. Upon successful completion of the Direct Care Worker training program, an offer of employment may be extended. This is a course that will be two days via Zoom with the expectation your camera is on and you are participating. The 3rd day is in our Williamsport office to do clinical skills with our Clinical Manager and upon graduation, onboarding with our recruiter. Upon successful completion of the Direct Care Worker training program, an offer of employment may be extended.
