Essential Responsibilities:
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy mining equipment including haul trucks, loaders, dozers, and excavators
Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections to keep equipment running safely and efficiently
Repair and replace components to OEM standards, with a focus on CAT, John Deere, and Komatsu equipment
Complete service records and communicate equipment status to operations teams
Work safely with tools and equipment, following all site safety procedures
Collaborate with mechanics and operations to prioritize repairs and minimize downtime
Qualifications:
Hands-on experience in heavy equipment repair (mining or heavy civil preferred)
Apprentice or Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician Certification
Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
Experience reading schematics and using diagnostic tools
Experience with CAT, John Deere, and Komatsu equipment strongly preferred
Must be available for day / night shifts
Work Conditions:
Project based position working 14 days on and 14 days off, working 12 hours per day
Work is anticipated to be completed in April 2027 with potential for extension
Camp accommodations
Chartered flights from Edmonton or Calgary
Work will be primarily outdoors and in various weather conditions
