What you’ll do

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting Point72’s Treasury function with best-in-class technology solutions. You will align the business needs with technology delivery, provide guidance with strategic business architecture, and execute key business projects in line with business optimization needs. Specifically, you will:

• Lead the technical product buildout to optimize the current application inventory stack while architecting a platform that scales to the firm’s future needs with regards to liquidity, margin and collateral, and key business stakeholder management
• Develop software and analytics to further develop firmwide mandates such as liquidity risk, margin risk management, collateral management, and funding optimization
• Manage and lead key stakeholder relationships, especially between Treasury management and Technology
• Lead and grow a group of product specialists, analysts, quantitative strategists, and developers within Technology
• Ensure alignment of financing, margin, and stock loan business requirements to broader firm technology architecture strategy
• Provide thought leadership and product input on tooling solutions for margin and collateral optimization
• Support business and Treasury on liquidity regulatory enquiries
• Partner with cross function peers to create, administer, track, and close out project deliverables as they pertain to Treasury
• Ensure resources are assigned to projects in line with business analysis and development groups, and monitor commitments in line with the project management team
• Ensure teams understand business processes and gaps in capabilities, as well as appropriate data sources, interfaces, and process changes required to address the gaps

What’s required

• Ability to lead a technical team, provide technical and functional guidance, and manage stakeholders needs
• Ability to communicate complex technical and risk ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of data science technologies including machine learning (ML) and ML frameworks 
• Working knowledge of cloud-ready architectures and technologies such as AWS, GCP, Azure, Microservice Architecture, Streaming, Serialization protocols, NoSQL, and in-memory databases.
• Working knowledge of web architectures and technologies such as Python, Java, GraphQL, APIs, node, React, and Angular.
• Experience using AI tools like Cursor or Claude Code, with the ability to build MCPs, Skills, and more.
• Strong knowledge of treasury fundamentals across liquidity risk, margin modeling, collateral management, and stress testing, including related optimization models, reporting, and analytics
• Working knowledge of stress event management, planning, and forecasting as it pertains to liquidity, as well as collateral stressing, substitution, and rehypothecation
• Excellent understanding of financial products within capital markets business, as well as knowledge of capital metrics including RWA
• Understanding of financial markets and associated operational support functions

The annual base salary range for this role is $300,000-$400,000 (USD), which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
