Role Summary

As Head of HR for ING Hubs Philippines, you will serve as a strategic partner to the Head of ING Hubs Philippines, the local Management Team, and the Global Head of HR ING Hubs. You'll be responsible for translating global priorities into a forward-looking local people strategy that enables business success and sustainable growth.

You will lead a high-performing HR organization focused on workforce transformation, talent and leadership development, organizational effectiveness, employee experience, and responsible people management. Through data-driven decision-making, innovation, and strong stakeholder engagement, you will help shape the future of work within ING Hubs Philippines.

About the Team

ING Hubs is a global network of more than 13,000 colleagues across the Philippines, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Türkiye, and Spain. The Hubs play a critical role in helping ING accelerate innovation, scale capabilities, and deliver services that support both Wholesale Banking and Retail Banking worldwide.

As a member of the local Management Team, you will work closely with senior business leaders, global HR teams, Centers of Expertise, and external stakeholders to shape a modern, inclusive, and high-performing workplace.

What You'll Be Doing

• Define and execute the HR strategy for ING Hubs Philippines, aligning local priorities with ING's global people agenda.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on workforce planning, organization design, leadership, talent, culture, and employee experience.
• Lead and develop a high-performing HR function that delivers value-added, efficient, and scalable services.
• Drive workforce transformation, including strategic workforce planning, capability building, reskilling, upskilling, and internal mobility.
• Lead talent, succession, leadership development, employer branding, and talent acquisition initiatives.  
• Foster an engaging, inclusive, and high-performance culture that reflects ING's values and ambitions.
• Ensure compliance, strong governance, and effective risk management across all HR activities.
• Drive operational excellence through simplification, automation, AI, and people analytics.
• Manage the people and social impact of organizational change while supporting leaders and employees throughout transformation journeys.

Required Skills & Experience

Must-Have

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience.
• Significant experience within large, complex, international, and matrixed organizations.
• Demonstrated success advising senior leaders on strategic workforce, organizational, talent, and transformation initiatives.
• Strong expertise in workforce planning, organizational design, change management, employee engagement, and culture development.
• Deep understanding of HR operating models, talent acquisition, employer branding, leadership development, and internal mobility.
• Knowledge of local employment legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
