As Head of Controlling Italy, you will lead our national controlling function and act as a strategic partner to the business. Reporting to the Country CFO, you will take on a strategic leadership role with strong business impact, collaborating with international and EMEA stakeholders while driving and shaping business performance, transformation, and supporting strategic growth in a dynamic industrial environment.

The role can be based on our site in Zola Predosa (BO) or Casella (GE), but will be required to travel to the other Italian sites on a regular basis according to specific needs.

ABOUT THE ROLE

In this role, you will drive financial planning, performance monitoring, and decision support across our Italian operations. You will play a key role in ensuring financial transparency, improving profitability, and supporting operational excellence in a dynamic, international manufacturing environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes
• Deliver accurate and insightful financial reporting to local and EMEA leadership
• Drive performance analysis, identifying risks and opportunities
• Oversee controlling activities across four manufacturing sites
• Strengthen cost control, productivity, and profitability
• Act as a strategic business partner to Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and Sales
• Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing controlling team
• Ensure compliance with group policies and reporting standards
• Support strategic initiatives, investments, and transformation projects

ABOUT YOU

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar
• 8–10+ years of experience in Controlling / FP&A, ideally in manufacturing
• Proven leadership experience (min. 3–5 years managing teams)
• Strong expertise in: Financial planning & analysis, Cost / plant controlling and standard costing, KPI development and performance management and Investment evaluation and cash flow management.
• Experience in multinational environments
• Excellent knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel skills
• Strong understanding of IFRS and local GAAP
• Fluent Italian & English are required.
• French is a plus

WHAT WE OFFER

We offer a gross annual salary range of €57.500 – €71.900, level Quadro according to “Gomma Plastica Industria” Italian CLA, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including:
