About the job

This role is critical in strengthening the company’s market presence, building stakeholder trust, enhancing employer brand awareness among targeted talent communities, and supporting leadership with strategic communications planning. The successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic, fast-growing environment and play a key role in elevating brand visibility, shaping communication priorities, and delivering high-impact messaging that supports the company’s continued growth and success.

The role requires a strategic, digitally savvy communications leader who understands both local stakeholder dynamics and broader regional/global talent positioning, especially within the technology sector.

2. Employer Branding

  • Oversee and drive the Employer Branding strategy to increase awareness and attractiveness among target talent communities, especially technology and digital talent.

  • Strengthen the company’s positioning as an employer of choice, either around national pride, regional talent competitiveness, or another agreed strategic narrative.

  • Partner closely with Talent Acquisition, HR, business leaders, and technology teams to identify priority hiring segments and design communication activities accordingly.

  • Improve digital engagement across relevant platforms and communities where target talent is active.

  • Measure employer branding effectiveness through relevant metrics such as reach, engagement, candidate conversion, talent community growth, and brand recall.

3. External Communications

  • Build selective and meaningful relationships with media, industry partners, communities, and external stakeholders.

  • Support leadership positioning through thought leadership, speaking opportunities, industry forums, and partnership-based visibility where appropriate.

4. Internal Communications

  • Review current internal communication activities and optimize resource allocation to ensure higher-impact outcomes.

  • Partner with leadership to translate strategy into clear, engaging internal messages.

  • Ensure internal communications are relevant, concise, and aligned with the company’s growth stage.

Strategic Planning & Leadership Advisory

  • Build an integrated communications strategy across all four pillars with clear priorities, resource allocation, and measurable outcomes.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, proactively anticipating leadership expectations and translating high-level ideas into structured communication plans.

  • Shift communications investment toward high-impact digital marketing and employer branding activities where needed.

  • Provide strategic recommendations on whether the company should focus more heavily on local market positioning, regional talent awareness, or a balanced approach.

  • Lead annual and quarterly communication planning, including budget planning, campaign calendar, stakeholder engagement roadmap, and KPI tracking.

Digital Marketing & Communication Effectiveness

  • Understand digital platform behaviour and content preferences of target audiences, particularly technology professionals.

  • Design communication activities that reach fragmented talent groups across local, regional, and global communities.

  • Use data and insights to optimize campaign targeting, channel mix, content strategy, and budget allocation.

People Management

  • Lead, coach, and develop a communications team of 4–5 members.

  • Set clear priorities, roles, KPIs, and working rhythm across the four communication pillars.

  • Build team capability in government affairs, digital employer branding, external communications, and internal communications.

  • Ensure the team can operate independently, proactively, and effectively in a lean-resource environment.

  • Foster a high-standard, business-oriented, and collaborative communications culture.
