HCM Business Advisory supports HR strategies and initiatives across the bank.  It is also a key enabler of effective delivery of the banks HR strategy through the provision of expert knowledge and support on HR policies, programmes, processes, people strategy and ensures consistent application of HR best practice.

Your key responsibilities

• On an advisory level work typically includes:
  Responsibility for the delivery of HR Services for the UKI.
  Working with stakeholders in implementing people agenda initiatives, providing advice to employees and managers on people topics, providing guidance on HR policies and processes (incl. ensuring compliance) and overall responsibility for lifecycle measures.
  Working with the business and specialist HR product areas to achieve bank-wide human capital management goals.  Examples may include but are not limited to; restructuring, diversity and talent acquisition and retention initiatives, supporting performance management activity, leadership capabilities, management of employee relations cases and consequence management and key partner in the year-end compensation and promotion process.
  On a business partnering level work typically includes:
  Responsibility and accountability for delivering the HR people strategy in support of the overall business strategy.
  Partnering with the business to define and translate business needs into human capital strategy.
  Supporting and driving organizational change and restructuring initiatives and work with respective stakeholders
• Support the UK BAC across a broad portfolio of employment, compensation, governance and reporting activities, including but not limited to Flexible Working Applications (which has strict governance and compliance requirements), international assignments, promotion process support, rehire governance, replacement contract administration, and year end compensation process support.
• Support the UK BAC in managing increasing operational demand, absorbing more advisory related support activities transitioning into the team, maintaining service delivery, and providing timely support to UK Business Advisory and Business Partner stakeholders.
• The team will be required to use judgement, identify nuance and closely collaborate with the UK Business Advisory team for context, potential risks and guidance on these subjects.

Your skills and experience

• Minimum 10 years of experience in HR shared services and advisory functions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent negotiation skills and experience in troubleshooting complex issues across HR functions.
• Good knowledge of HCM tools like Workday, Service Now etc.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent analytical skills.

Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
