Join our Delivery department as an Architect to play a pivotal role in optimizing and streamlining development processes using cutting-edge tools and methodologies. This position focuses on implementing robust DevOps practices and leveraging cloud technologies to drive efficiency and scalability.

Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Harness CI/CD Architect/Lead to define, architect, and implement enterprise CI/CD Gold Standards using Harness. The architect will establish scalable, secure, automated CI/CD patterns and drive adoption across application and engineering teams.
This role requires someone who can architect, build, conduct POCs, implement, and standardize CI/CD solutions—not just provide architectural guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Define enterprise CI/CD architecture, standards, and reference architectures using Harness.
- Establish CI/CD Gold Standards covering build, test, security, artifact management, deployment, release, approvals, rollback, and governance.
- Design and implement Harness CI/CD pipelines and reusable pipeline templates.
- Build hands-on POCs and reference implementations across different application and technology stacks.
- Implement deployment strategies including rolling, blue/green, canary, and progressive delivery.
- Integrate Harness with GitHub actions, Blackduck, Egg plant, ServiceNow, Jira, Terraform, OCP, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure and GCP.
- Establish DevSecOps controls and security gates within CI/CD pipelines.
- Define CI/CD patterns for Kubernetes, microservices, cloud-native applications, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Assess and modernize existing CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps and GitLab.
- Evaluate DevOps tools and technologies through POCs and technical assessments, providing clear recommendations.
- Establish CI/CD governance, engineering standards, reusable frameworks, and adoption guidelines.
- Partner with engineering, cloud, security and platform teams to drive enterprise adoption.
- Define and track CI/CD metrics including deployment frequency, lead time, change failure rate, pipeline reliability and automation.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on Harness CI/CD experience.
- Enterprise CI/CD architecture and implementation experience.
- Strong DevSecOps knowledge.
- Hands-on experience with OCP, Docker and Terraform.
- Strong Git and pipeline-as-code experience.
- Experience with AWS, Azure
- Experience integrating CI/CD with security, ITSM, artifact management and observability tools.
- Strong scripting/automation skills using Python, Bash or similar.
- Proven ability to conduct POCs and implement production solutions.
