Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

GROUNDS

• Must be knowledgeable of all basic aspects of general landscaping, including planting, pruning, shearing, mulching, mowing, trimming, blowing, leaf removal, snow removal, watering, policing grounds, trash removal, paver or wall installations, grading and turf renovation, sod installation, fertilizer and pesticide application, weeding, tree removal, and basic computer/record keeping.
• May be asked to assist any other department within the campus community and will be required to perform any other duties as assigned by immediate Supervisor/Manager/Director.
• Must be willing and able to work independently without supervision.
• Snow removal duties will be necessary seasonally.
• A uniform, issued by MSMU will be required. May be asked to assist any other department within the campus community and will be required to perform any other duties as assigned by immediate Supervisor/Manager/Director.
• Must be willing and able to work independently without supervision.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to lift 100 lbs.
• Must be able to lift and carry heavy loads up and down stairs.
• Must be able to work in all types of weather.
• Must be able to work well as a team.

Salary/Benefits

Minimum Pay Rate: $15.00/hour
