About the Role:

Sezzle is seeking a talented and motivated Graphic Design Intern who is best-in-class, with a high IQ and a high EQ. This role presents an exciting opportunity to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment within a rapidly growing team, with abundant prospects for career advancement.

In this role, you will be instrumental in crafting visually compelling designs that resonate with our brand’s ethos and captivate our target audience. As a Graphic Design Intern at Sezzle, you will work closely with the marketing, product and even sales teams to produce high-quality visuals that drive engagement and elevate our brand presence across different digital platforms.

What You'll Do:

• Visual Branding: Follow brand guidelines to develop and maintain consistent visual branding across all channels, including websites, email, print, and sales decks.
• Creative Design: Conceptualize and design graphics for various marketing efforts, including in-app banners, emails, landing pages, sales decks, video storyboarding, and display ads.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the creative, marketing, and product teams to ensure goals and timelines are being met.
• Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to continuously push the creative boundaries and bring fresh ideas to the table.
• Project Management: Manage multiple design projects from concept through completion, ensuring high-quality output within deadlines.
• Brand Storytelling: Translate complex ideas into simple, elegant visuals that tell a compelling story and enhance our brand identity.

What We Look For:

• Experience: Previous design experience through coursework, internships, freelance work, and/or personal projects.
• Design Skills: Proficient in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or InDesign). Familiarity of AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or other emerging creative tools is a plus. Jira experience is preferred but not required. 
• Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing visual design skills and the ability to bring ideas to life across a variety of digital formats. Work should demonstrate thoughtful use of typography, UI elements, icons, and graphic elements across projects such as emails, in-app experiences, landing pages, web, or other marketing assets.
• Creativity: A keen eye for aesthetics, typography, and composition, with a passion for creating engaging and visually striking designs.
• Collaboration: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to clearly share ideas, ask questions, and take constructive feedback and iterate quickly.
• Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field, or able to demonstrate equivalent skills through a strong portfolio.
• Demonstrated experience working with Claude or equivalent large language model tools is required; candidates must be comfortable leveraging AI to enhance productivity, research, and communication.

Compensation: The salary for the Graphic Design Intern is $2.800.000 COP monthly.
