Responsibilities:

At Freudenberg Filtration Technologies (FFT), you will shape a global filtration product portfolio at the intersection of technology, innovation, and market needs. You will own specifications, steer lifecycle decisions, and help bring competitive solutions to market worldwide.

• Product standards: Define and continuously improve global core product specifications and selected regional standards.

• Lifecycle ownership: Manage technical product decisions across the lifecycle, from launch (Stage-Gate/APQP) to optimization and phase-out.

• Market translation: Translate market and business needs into development requirements and support cross-functional execution.

• Value creation: Improve performance, cost, and competitiveness through product enhancements and value engineering.

• Technical expertise: Provide technical expertise for product releases, root cause analysis, complex issues, complaints, and customer inquiries.

• Portfolio strategy: Contribute technical insight, benchmarking, and roadmap input to strengthen portfolio strategy.

• Market readiness: Coordinate certifications, test reports, and technical documentation for global market readiness.

• Cross-functional partnership: Partner with engineering, production, sales, quality, purchasing, marketing, and global technical teams.

Qualifications:

• Master’s or PhD degree in Chemical, Process, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Technology, or a related technical field (recent graduates with strong academic or research performance are welcome).

• Initial professional or research experience in product management, R&D, engineering, or a comparable technical environment (including internships, thesis projects, or PhD research).

• Exposure to managing or contributing to technical products, development projects, or innovation topics.

• Interest in working across the full product lifecycle—from concept to market and continuous improvement.

• Solid understanding of technical concepts, testing methods, and documentation.

• Fluent English skills (minimum B2 level, capable of technical discussions).

• Based in or willing to commute to Potvorice with a hybrid presence of at least 50% on-site per month, along with readiness for international travel (approx. 10–20%).

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience or interest in filtration, nonwovens, or industrial manufacturing.

• Exposure to root cause analysis, failure analysis, or Stage-Gate development processes.

• Experience working in cross-functional or international environments.
