Support the development and implementation of global process standards for the respective tower processes and deliver improvements to assist in dentsu’s continuous business evolution.

Job Description:

Key Accountabilities


  • Work closely with the Global Process Owners in leading the R2R process tower for the global Microsoft Dynamics 365 deployments and improvement projects across media, creative and project business models in EMEA, Americas and APAC regions.
  • Liaise with subject matter experts covering various disciplines to define pragmatic and standard processes supported by the global Microsoft Dynamics 365 solution, and remaining target system architecture.
  • Partner with deployment teams to validate tax, legal and statutory requirements and drive overall adoption of the global template by identifying local process changes where needed, and minimise localisations.
  • Perform the required business analysis on perceived gaps to the global template to drive process standardisation and effectiveness across the core finance processes.
  • Input to the relevant governance boards with the programme and/or market teams and ensure that discussions are documented, and actions tracked to resolution.
  • Ensure change requests raised via deployment or the ongoing support channels add value to the global template and provide sufficient business case for additional investment by liaising with market and solution teams in evaluating alternatives, so they are prioritised appropriately by the programme.
  • Lead key deployment activities, incl. process improvements, documentation of global asset collaterals, training, test scenarios, reporting, and master data design principles.
  • Owns all documentation around the relevant process tower and ensures it remains current, keeping firmly in mind the experience of the end-user for which such documents are created.
  • Drive awareness of process controls as well as standard operational reporting needed to fully support business operations in a market.
  • Identify or develop deployment accelerators by using lessons learned from previous implementations and other best practices used across Finance Services to enable market teams delivering to plan, with minimal redesign.
  • Actively support the achievement of the business benefits sought by the target systems architecture being deployed.

  • Actively build strong relationships with key stakeholders across central and market ERP deployment teams to enable effective decision making and support fit for purpose processes.
  • Facilitate solution based working sessions among key stakeholders to drive & deliver processes that are future proof, providing a real focus on pragmatic value-added activities.
  • Comfortable managing ambiguity and able to adapt to change, influencing others where needed to deliver practical solutions.
  • Strong hands-on project management skills required to enable successful delivery of key milestones, including the identification of priorities, risks and barriers that require action.
  • Attention to detail yet able to articulate key messages to senior stakeholders.
  • Actively & effectively communicates (written / oral) with key stakeholders and impacting individuals, driving out simple solutions to complex problems.
  • Keep the team informed of issues and decisions and help ensure they are supported appropriately in managing change. Escalate risks and issues effectively and promptly.

Knowledge and Qualifications


  • Solid experience with process re-engineering and overall improvement initiatives within a disperse organisation, and shared service environments.
  • Experience of large-scale ERP implementations and finance transformation.
  • Solid end user operational experience with Global ERP solutions (Microsoft Dynamics a plus).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building relationships with others and influencing positive outcomes.
  • Ability to work to challenging deadlines in a demanding fast paced environment.
  • An accounting qualification or equivalent, or a strong finance background would be preferred.
  • Fluent English language skills, other languages an advantage but not pre-requisite.
