What We Offer

- Contribute to and implement the global MES strategy

- Acting as a key technical contact for MES architecture and roadmap decisions in close collaboration with the line manager.

- Develop and maintain global MES solution

- Plan, execute, coordinate and monitor international MES programs and projects.

- Manage internal/external MES software suppliers and service providers

- Identify process optimization potentials in production unit and support the implementation of the optimization.

- Drive alignment and experience exchange in MES area in Covestro worldwide.

What you offer

- Master's degree in an IT-related science or engineering discipline; bachelor's degree with strong relevant experience considered.

- 6–8 years of professional experience in IT or production-related IT, including some project leadership experience. 5+ years of experience in Process Control Technology (PCT), specifically in semi-continuous or batch operations.

- Solid expertise in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and SAP. Demonstrated ability to design and implement standardized IT/OT solutions in industrial environments.

- Ability to lead or coordinate interdisciplinary, international project teams in a collaborative manner. Good stakeholder management and communication skills in a multinational environment. Result-driven, structured and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

- Fluent English (written and spoken) required. Mandarin/Chinese is an advantage given the base location of Covestro Integrated Site Caojing.
