As the Global CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, delivery, and continuous improvement of CPQ initiatives across Systems Protection. In this role, you will coordinate stakeholders, translate business needs into executable project plans, and ensure CPQ solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and with strong adoption. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product Management, Pricing, Marketing and Engineering, to define and prioritize system requirements to lead and implement end to end CPQ Projects, from new product launches to new CPQ capabilities and features.
WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
- Requirements gathering: collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, document requirements, and translate them into functional specifications for CPQ enhancements and configurations.
- Projects Management: Lead end-to-end projects, from discovery and scoping through implementation, testing, deployment, and post launch support.
- Integrations: Drive API-based integrations with Salesforce, ERP (Infor M3), Pricefx, and distributor websites, ensuring seamless data flow and automation. Oversee alignment with AWS-based back-end services and React-based web CPQ applications.
- Change Management: Support change management, user training and adoption activities to ensure proper use of CPQ tools.
- Team Collaboration: work closely with the development Team and Technical Administrator to provide insight and guidance related to CPQ Platform and aligning in priorities and execution when needed ensuring successful project execution.
- Vendor engagement: work with CPQ vendors to drive project execution and understand new platform updates applicable for business needs that will drive growth, efficiency and process savings.
- CPQ governance and processes: Contribute and support to the evolution of CPQ process and governance within Systems Protection as the platform scales.
- Strategy and commercial execution: support the CPQ Manager in planning and implementing strategic and commercial initiatives aligned with business needs across Systems Protection.
YOU HAVE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business (MBA a plus)
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a product owner or project coordinator, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial products environment.
- Experience managing CPQ systems (Tacton CPQ) or related sales enablement / quote-to-cash projects.
- Understanding of sales processes, pricing, product configuration, quoting, and commercial operations.
- Structured, analytical approach and comfort working with data, requirements, and process documentation.
- Demonstrated success collaborating with cross-functional teams and delivering digital solutions
- Proven project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and deliver projects in a timely manner within a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and meticulous, with a passion for driving continuous improvement.
- Experience with tools and methodologies such as Agile, Jira, Confluence, or similar project delivery environments.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable challenging assumptions and influencing with facts.
- Proficient English.
