Responsibilities

As a Generalist, Product-minded Software Engineer you will:

• Own product development end-to-end—from understanding the problem and shaping the solution to building, launching, and iterating.
• Understand and analyze user and stakeholder feedback, translating it into practical product improvements.
• Turn ambiguous ideas into clear priorities, focused scopes, and working prototypes.
• Shape exceptional UI and user experiences across the product, with attention to clarity, consistency, and craft.
• Build across the stack, taking on frontend, backend, integrations, and infrastructure as needed.
• Make thoughtful trade-offs between speed, quality, and scope to deliver value quickly.
• Collaborate closely with design, product, and business teams, contributing to both what we build and how we build it.
• Ship reliable, intuitive experiences and own testing, deployment, monitoring, and ongoing maintenance.
• Measure how products perform, learn from real usage, and take responsibility for outcomes.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should:

• Be a builder. Turn ideas into working software—and have projects to show for it.
• Have a feel for great software and excellent UI/UX. Notice the details that make products intuitive and enjoyable to use.
• Think in terms of products. Understand the user’s problem, question assumptions, and help decide what’s worth building.
• Be an exceptional engineer for your experience level.

• Familiarity with asynchronous programming.
