Gastroenterologist

About this role:

As a Physician in Gastroenterology, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience.  In this role you will be a part of an employed Medical Group Gastroenterology practice serving Washington County, where there is a strong community need for increased access to GI and Endoscopy care. This position would be apart of a team-based GI practice model with a strong referral base and infrastructure that will help support you in building your GI practice.  

• This position includes a starting base salary of $620,000/annually, a $50,000 sign-on bonus, up to $20,000 relocation assistance based upon distance; student loan repayment, a $1,500 monthly training stipend and future AEC opportunities are also available.
• Your primary practice location will be in St. George, UT at our Redrock Digestive Health Clinic with privileges at St. George Regional Hospital. You will also support Cedar City's patient population 2-4 days per month.
• Hospital call is shared with a group of eight gastroenterologists.
• You will have the opportunity for a (4) or (5) day work week with a mix of clinic, endoscopy and hospital service

What you’ll bring:

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
• ACGME Residency training in Internal Medicine & Fellowship training in Gastroenterology
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine with a subspecialty in Gastroenterology
• ERCP is welcomed but not required for this position 
• Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one, DEA and BLS
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
• Candidates requiring Visa sponsorship will be reviewed on an individual basis

St. George Regional Hospital

St. George Regional Hospital is a 284-bed hospital and is the major medical referral center for northwestern Arizona, southeastern Nevada, and southern Utah. We are fully accredited by The Joint Commission and serve as a Level II Trauma center, caring for almost all trauma patients (with the exception of major pediatric trauma).
