All brand strategies, product development, and innovation are led and driven by certain PVH affiliates in the US with respect to products under the Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger brands sold in NA, Asia, and SA; and in the Netherlands with respect to products bearing the Tommy Hilfiger Europe, Calvin Klein Europe brands and sold in the Asia region. The position in this job description helps the above-mentioned PVH-related parties meet their operating and strategic needs.

Product focus includes, but is not limited to, underwear, swimwear, active wear, and loungewear for both men’s and women’s.

Own technical development of allocated styles, collaborating with Global technical teams and Hub cross-functional partners. Ensure consistency of fit across all collections.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Compile, analyze, and document clear directional fitting comments in Centric.

• Ability to evaluate garment construction and quality to identify possible risks and testing required, and be able to provide alternative suggestions to eliminate risk.

• Responsible for upholding design intent across multiple sizes from 1st Fit through to PP Approval. Where concerns arise, act proactively by providing a concern and suggested solution to the Technical and Design Team.

• Work closely with Hub sourcing and vendor to manage sample T&A - Assisting where prompt conversation with vendors & action is needed.

• Follow and assess yearly SOP set in place internally and externally within the company. Making sure SOPs are relevant or following up with partners on necessary updates.

• Lead vendor accreditation training for PP and Fit Approval. Responsible for identifying programs/style, allocate PP, and or Fit Approval to the vendor.

• Build strong relationships with our vendors and cross-functional partners.

• Lead and participate in communication with cross-functional teams, sharing knowledge, aiding better alignment.

• To participate in projects to create and define new SOPs and best practices.

DECISION MAKING

• Responsible for solving and justifying any discrepancy on pattern/grading/YY that might be encountered by the vendors.

• Sample approval / Pattern construction / Fitting result / Quality standard.

• Able to make decisions on bringing/ altering new benefits that should be beneficial for the brand and company.

RESOURCEFULNESS/CREATIVITY (describe the nature, degree, and scope of opportunity to develop innovative methods and processes.

• Build up libraries/paper pattern matching records to improve the group process to cope with the increasing/heavy workload.

• Guide hubs and vendors to ensure our workflow can run seamlessly.

• To utilize computer knowledge to make an effective way to perform a variety of tasks in the system

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Education & Experience:

• Diploma or above in Technical Design, Pattern Grading, or equivalent.

• Minimum 3 years or above relevant experience.

Skills:

• Knowledge of fitting, pattern making, grading, construction, and testing in related production categories

• Solid working knowledge of sewing and stitch properties and overall garment detail.

• Organized and detail-oriented, takes immediate action to resolve issues and problems.

• Calibrated mindset which builds good working relationships and leads to team building.

• Excellent communication skills, able to communicate effectively across the team and organization.

• Knowledge of live model garment fitting and the ability to instruct a vendor on the garment manufacturability.

• Knowledge of the Lectra system.

• Knowledge of PLM systems

• Strong MS Office Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook)

• Fluency in English
