THE ROLE 

We are looking for a Cashier to join our team at New Highmark Stadium in Buffalo, NY. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing food, beverage, and merchandise purchases, providing excellent customer service to guests, and accurately handling card and mobile payment transactions. If you are looking to be a part of the excitement and energy of live stadium events, this is your opportunity to join a fast-paced and team-oriented environment!

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS   

• Process food, beverage, and merchandise purchases using a POS system. 

• Provide exceptional customer service and answer guest questions. 

• Handle card and mobile payments while maintaining accurate transaction records. 

• Ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations. 

• Practice safe work habits and complete company and venue safety and general compliance training.  

• Adheres to the Legends Global and venue company policies.  

• Other duties as assigned by management. 

QUALIFICATIONS

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 

• Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in spreadsheet, database, and word processing programs 

• Must have sufficient mobility to perform tasks including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time 

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus 

• Must be flexible to work extended hours due to business requirements including late nights, weekends and holidays including all games and major stadium events 

• Must have the ability to lift, push, pull approximately 25lbs 

• Must be able to stand and/or walk for up to 10 hours during a single shift, while navigating ramps, stairs and elevator 

COMPENSATION  

Competitive hourly range $16 plus tips.

• Ability to lift/move/maneuver up to 25-50 lbs.  

• Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching and repetitive motions.  

• Ability to work in all weather conditions.  

• Exposure to loud noises (i.e., fireworks, voices, and audio systems), flashing lights, and extreme heat/cold
