micro1 is engaging Game Designers and Gameplay Developers for a project focused on reviewing and annotating video sessions of robotic arms completing real-world tasks. This is an AI training and data annotation project rather than a traditional game development assignment.

Your experience breaking complex activity into actions, states, interactions, and outcomes is highly relevant to this work. You will use that same systems thinking to identify what is happening in each video, label key events consistently, and help produce high-quality data for next-generation AI systems. No prior experience in AI, robotics, or data annotation is required—clear visual reasoning and strong attention to detail are what matter most.

Scope of Work

1. Review video footage of robotic arms performing tasks, following detailed annotation and grading guidelines provided by the customer.
2. Identify and label actions, object interactions, state changes, task outcomes, errors, and other relevant events within each video segment.
3. Apply your understanding of action sequences, system states, cause and effect, and success or failure conditions to interpret robotic behavior accurately.
4. Use dedicated annotation tools to tag video content precisely and consistently.
5. Flag unclear or ambiguous moments and explain your reasoning in concise written notes.
6. Contribute to quality control by reviewing annotations and providing constructive feedback when requested.
7. Complete assigned batches accurately and within established deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Professional or academic background in game design, gameplay development, technical game design, game QA, or a related field.
2. Strong understanding of action sequences, object states, interactions, rules, and cause-and-effect relationships.
3. Experience reviewing, testing, debugging, or documenting gameplay behavior.
4. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to apply the same criteria consistently across repetitive visual tasks.
5. Strong written communication skills, with the ability to explain observations and edge cases clearly.
6. Experience with data annotation, visual QA, AI training projects, or robotics is helpful but not required.
